Dietary Specialties at the Gingerbread Cottage Bed and Breakfast

At the Gingerbread Cottage we have cook to order breakfasts. If you have Dietary concerns or Food Allergies of any sort please feel free to let us know

Vegetarian or low fat breakfasts can be prepared on request.

We use no added trans fats in breakfast preparation.

Also if you are diabetic, lactose intolerant, or Celiac.

Vegan meals are also available at a $10 per day per person charge.

Please make dietary concerns known at time of booking so we can have special food items on hand when you arrive.

7 Dietary Guidelines

A few everyday common sense suggestions for consideration.

1. Find out how you react to various foods and types of foods.
2. Have a Food Plan and stick to it.
3. Eat a hearty healthy breakfast.
4. Eat Proteins and fats early in the day to allow them to digest and calories to be used as the day goes by.
5. Eat an early light dinner - salad or fruit.
6. Do not eat after 7 o'clock - any food left in digestion turns to fat as you sleep.
7. Sugars and sugar substitutes cause insulin to be produced which ultimately turns into hard to lose belly fat.

• Available to and from our door, simply board the AKAL bus at the airport.

•  Just walk straight up Oswego St from the Coho from Port Angeles Washington or the Clipper from Seattle. Click here for map to our door
